Title: Director of Clinical Services
Reports To: Executive Director
Job Overview
Direct and manage all issues relating to operational and regulatory compliance of the Clinical department to include but not limited to Title XIX Waiver, OHFLAC, and BMS. This position is to provide strategic managerial and quality assurance input and leadership on issues affecting the Clinical department. This position must effectively manage the staff of the Clinical department and work with leadership and staff within the entire organization to improve the quality of individual supports in the Clinical department, as well as improve the financial position of those departments.
Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, or related field
Master’s degree in related field preferred
3-5 years of related experience
Supervisory experience preferred
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Fuctions
Ability to learn and communicate effectively on complex programs, procedures, and policies.
Project Management skills.
Knowledge of various computer software packages.
Communicate clearly, concisely and effectively in both written and oral forms.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Attend and participate in scheduled meetings, including Board of Director meetings.
Accomplish all tasks as assigned or requested by supervisor.
Must be able to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
Must be able to determine appropriate budget amounts within a Waiver member’s given annual budget and determine whether the correct amounts were purchased.
Fill in as needed for Service Coordinators and Behavioral Support Professionals and fulfill all the job duties required by those positions.
Must have the ability to make effective presentations and persuasive speeches or presentations on controversial or complex topics to the Board of Directors.
Develop and maintain processes to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and accreditation entities.
Ability to function effectively and efficiently in a “team environment”.
