Arc of the Three Rivers provides Intensive Support Setting (ISS) services for individuals who need 24-hour support in a safe, structured, and community-based living environment. Our ISS homes are staffed by an awake and alert Direct Support Professional (DSP) who does not live in the home and is available at all times to provide care and assistance.
ISS services are individualized to meet the needs of each person receiving support. The goal is to help individuals build daily living skills, increase independence, make personal choices, and participate more fully in community life.
Support may focus on the acquisition, retention, or improvement of skills in the following areas:
- Self-care
- Receptive and expressive language
- Learning
- Mobility
- Self-direction
- Capacity for independent living
Through ISS services, Arc of the Three Rivers helps individuals work toward greater independence, improved quality of life, and meaningful community inclusion in a supportive home setting.
